Jinsha Site Museum
Jinsha Site Museum located in the city center of Chengdu, is one of the most representative exhibition sites of the ancient Shu civilization. It breaks through traditional exhibition methods and utilizes innovative operating concepts to showcase the mysterious Jinsha culture of the ancient Shu civilization. The museum is currently a national AAAA-level tourist scenic spot, a national first-class museum, a national science popularization education base, a national research practice education base for elementary and middle school students, and a base for postdoctoral innovation practice in Sichuan Province.
Hall No.1: Primitive Homeland
The hall situates in 2F west.
A large diorama and archaeological remains of ancient flora and fauna are integrated to reconstruct the original ecological environment.
Hall No.2: King Palace at a Glance
The hall situates in 2F east.
The exhibition shows various aspects of Jinsha people’s lives such as their residences, palaces, living utensils, casting and jade-making techniques, and cemeteries.
Hall No.3 Immortal Heaven and Earth
The hall situates in 1F east.
The exhibition highlights the spiritual world of the Jinsha people by showcasing sacrifice-offering related articles such as gold, jade, stone, ivory objects, and tusks and tortoise shells.
4D film Dreaming Back to Jinsha
You will have a glance at the splendor of the ancient Shu state while submerging yourself in the visual and audio verisimilitude across time and space.
