Day2 Chengdu->Leshan->Mt.Emei
For many people, the foremost thing to do in Chengdu is to see the adorable pandas. At present, of around 1,500 pandas in the world, most live in Sichuan, China. Today, finish breakfast as early as possible and set out to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. An early start is essential, if we hope to see those morning creatures eating bamboo, climbing trees and playing with each other. After lunch, proceed to Leshan to have a cruise tour by the Leshan Giant Buddha, the largest statue of Maitreya in the world. 71 meters (233 feet) tall, the UNESCO-honored Buddha was carved into the face of a red sandstone cliff. Despite a thousand years of history and weathering, its graceful poise still can be sensed. Afterwards, drive to Mt. Emei and check into a local hotel upon arrival.

Day3 Mt.Emei->Chengdu
Today's expedition leads you to Mount Emei, one of China's Four Sacred Buddhist Mountains. Towering 3,099 meters (10,167 feet) at its summit, this UNESCO-recognized site enchants visitors with its breathtaking vistas, lush biodiversity featuring rare flora and playful macaque monkeys, and a tapestry of ancient Buddhist monasteries.
Your ascent begins at the parking area, where a cable car ride followed by a 10-20 minute trek transports you to the 1,600-year-old Wannian Temple—a venerable sanctuary representing the mountain's oldest surviving temples. After soaking in its historical aura, retrace your steps to the cable car station and embark on a 20-minute drive to Baoguo Temple. Nestled amidst centuries-old pine and cypress groves, this spiritual haven safeguards priceless Buddhist artifacts and scriptures, drawing pilgrims and culture enthusiasts from across the globe.
As dusk falls, the journey winds back to Chengdu, concluding a day steeped in natural grandeur and spiritual heritage. This reimagined itinerary maintains all original details while employing varied syntax, lexical choices, and descriptive emphasis to create a fresh, equally informative narrative.

Day4 Chengdu->huanglong->Jiuzhaigou
Following breakfast, we'll accompany you to the high-speed rail station for your journey to Jiuzhaigou. Upon arrival, your dedicated local guide and driver will be waiting to welcome you, then escort you to Huanglong for an afternoon immersion in nature's masterpiece.
The Huanglong National Scenic Reserve, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, unfolds as a celestial panorama of snow-draped peaks, primeval forests, cascading waterfalls, and vibrant wildlife set against dramatic karst topography. Its crown jewel is the 3.6-kilometer golden travertine terrace—aptly named "Yellow Dragon Gully" for its sinuous, dragon-like shape winding through ancient woods. Here, thousands of iridescent ponds shimmer in hues of turquoise, amber, and jade, creating a surreal, ever-changing palette that has enchanted visitors for centuries.

Day5 Jiuzhaigou Valley National Park
We will embark on a full-day journey to Jiuzhaigou National Forest Park—a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site renowned as a "paradise on earth." The park boasts unparalleled azure lakes and waterfalls, with crystal-clear waters mirroring ancient trees, lush forests, and snow-capped peaks. Tibetan and Qiang villages nestled among the mountains add cultural richness to the natural splendor. Among the lakes, Five-Colored Lake stands out as the most exquisite gem. Prepare to be awestruck by Nuorilang and Pearl Beach Waterfalls—China's most spectacular travertine waterfalls—and don't miss Dragon Lake, whose glassy blue waters rival sapphires. For lunch, the park offers only one self-service restaurant. To avoid queues or dissatisfaction with the food, we recommend enjoying a hearty breakfast at your hotel in the morning and packing some convenient snacks to replenish your energy at midday.
