Morning: Begin Your Adventure
Embark on a day of exploration starting with the Mutianyu Great Wall—a less-visited section of China's 1,400-year-old iconic landmark, located approximately 70 kilometers from Beijing. Stroll along this historic marvel while soaking in breathtaking vistas. Ascend effortlessly via a scenic cable car to reach the wall, then climb watchtowers for panoramic views that promise unforgettable moments. After your Great Wall journey, descend comfortably by cable car (or opt for a challenging hike if physically able, to savor the triumph of reaching the summit).
Afternoon: Cultural Immersion
Return to the city center to visit the Confucius Temple and Guozijian Museum, delving into Beijing's scholarly heritage. Wander through nearby hutongs, browse quaint shops, sample local street snacks, and experience authentic daily life in this historic neighborhood.
Evening: Modern Marvels
As night falls, marvel at the illuminated Bird's Nest (National Stadium) and Water Cube (National Aquatics Center)—architectural wonders that starkly contrast Beijing's ancient past with futuristic design. Their shimmering lights and innovative structures will leave you in awe, rounding off a perfect day of cultural and historical discovery.

After breakfast，our guide will accompany you to explore the Temple of Heaven—China's largest ancient sacrificial complex and a 490-year Ming/Qing-era site for imperial sky worship.

Then, the guide will escort you to the station and help you board the high-speed train to Xi’an, cruising at 350 km/h for roughly 4.5–5.5 h. We’ll book the fastest, fewest-stops service available. Pack some fruit, snacks, and a book or tablet for an enjoyable ride. Upon arrival, our Xi’an guide & driver will meet you at the platform and transfer you to the hotel.

Head straight to the Terracotta Army Museum this morning:Emperor Qinshihuang’s Mausoleum Site Museum, in Lintong District, Xi’an, Shaanxi, is a large-scale archaeological park built around the Terracotta Army Museum and the imperial tomb precinct (Lishan Garden). Centered on the mausoleum and its satellite pits, it protects and interprets the ruins and their setting while offering education, research, tourism and leisure. Rated AAAAA in 2007, the complex comprises the Terracotta Army Museum and Lishan Garden, 2.2 km apart and linked by a free shuttle.

After lunch we drive back to town and stop at Xi’an’s signature landmark, the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda. The square brick tower is the tallest of its kind; more than 1,300 monsoons have left its outline intact, its unadorned elegance still breathing Tang-dynasty poise.

At dusk we head to the Tang-Culture Walk, China’s only full-scale replica-Tang pedestrian avenue and Xi’an’s signature night scene. Eaves curve and pavilions stack under a blaze of lanterns; once the lights switch on, the crowd glows like a living scroll. Here, scattered gems of history—Bai Juyi’s top-listing at the Wild Goose Pagoda, Li Bai’s wine-soaked verses, hair-pinned court ladies, Fang and Du’s famed statecraft—are lifted from dusty archives into living color through modern dance, costumed actors and street-side improv. A single kilometer becomes stage after stage, where tradition flirts with fashion and the ancient keeps pace with the now.

This morning, we will first head to the City Wall Park,, which has stood for centuries. Take a leisurely walk or rent a bicycle to circle on the top of the wall and admire the panoramic views of the city. Immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of Muslim Street, where you can sample Xi'an's culinary delights, such as lamb skewers, roujiamo , and an array of mouthwatering noodles.

In the afternoon, you will head to Chengdu by a high speed train, which takes around 4 hours. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to the hotel by our local guide and driver.

Begin the morning with a 40-minute drive to the Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Research Base for an up-close meet-and-greet with the city’s most beloved black-and-white ambassadors. Next, shift to the Jinsha Site Museum on western Qingyang Avenue, where the glory of the 3,000-year-old Shu Kingdom lies buried. Among the 3,000 unearthed pieces, stone carvings pulse with life, gold and jade seals glitter, and emerald ornaments display master craftsmanship; accompanying grave goods—pottery, porcelain, ivory, tortoise shells and antler—quietly recount tales from the upper Yangtze civilization.

Then you will enjoy Chengdu leisure lifestyle by having a cup of tea in People's Park
Kuan-Zhai Alleys (Wide and Narrow Alleys) are the last destination of the day; an ancient street with hundreds of years of history combined with modern elements. You can imagine the ancient Chengdu by walking between Qing dynasty style buildings (1636 - 1912).

In the morning visit to Sichuan Cuisine Museum, which is located in Pixian County and the interactive museum dedicated to Sichuan gastronomy. It will take about 1 hour in vehicle from Chengdu. You can learn about the history of Sichuan cuisine and how to cook some typical Sichuan dishes. You also have chance to taste the Sichuan dishes by the professional chiefs.

Time to bid Chengdu farewell. the guide will escort you to the station and help you board the high-speed train to Chongqing. Upon arrival, our Chongqing guide & driver will meet you at the platform and transfer you to the hotel.Next, we’ll visit Hongya Cave and Jiefangbei.
Jiefangbei: Iconic landmark of Chongqing. Nearby Bayi Good Food Street offers authentic breakfasts like spicy noodles, sour and spicy rice noodles, and mountain city sweet dumplings.Hongya Cave: An 11-story stilted building complex built along the mountain. Arrive around 18:00 to explore Bayu Cultural Street during the day, and witness the enchanting nightscape resembling Studio Ghibli's "Spirited Away" bathhouse after dark. Top photo spots include Qiansimen Bridge's second-floor viewing platform (long-focus lens for panorama), Dai Jia Xiang Cliff Walkway (overlooking the illuminated stilted buildings), and Grand Theatre River Beach Park (shooting reflections across the river).

Liziba Light Rail Station: Experience the "metro through building" spectacle. Viewing platforms at Exit A (classic仰拍perspective) and Exit B (overlooking from the air-raid shelter) offer unique angles, with Garbin River Binjiang Road providing a panoramic view.

Ciqikou Ancient Town: A thousand-year-old water-land terminal. Must-try: Chen's sesame crisps, chicken giblet noodles, and handmade sour and spicy rice noodles. Venture beyond the main street to discover old teahouses and Sichuan opera face-changing performances.

Afterward, we will escort you to the pier, where our guide will assist you with check-in for your Yangtze River cruise. The ship sails between Chongqing and the Three Gorges Dam at Yichang, passing through the most picturesque stretches of the gorges. Throughout the cruise, a detailed daily schedule will be delivered to your cabin, clearly stating breakfast, lunch, and dinner times as well as the day’s activities. The onboard guide will explain the program and introduce the famous sights along the route. If you have any questions, feel free to ask the guide or reception staff at any time.

Today, it is advised to get up early to join in the Tai Chi master to do some morning exercise. After breakfast, disembark and follow the cruise guide to visit the Ghost City of Fengdu. It is believed that every soul is judged in the “Ghost City” after death before going to the nether world and Fengdu Ghost City was built based on the beliefs, where you can learn a lot about the culture of ghost in China. For travelers who take Victoria Cruise ship, the onshore sightseeing will be arranged at Fengdu ShuangGui Mt. instead.

The highlight part of the Yangtze River Cruise is coming today as the ship sails through Three Gorges. It will sail through the Qutang Gorge at around 11:00 – 11:30 and Wu Gorge at about 13:15 – 13:30, both guarded by peculiar mountain peaks. After admiring the majestic scenery, disembark and take an interesting adventure by motorized ferry along Shennv Stream. Sitting on the ferry, you will travel along the zigzagging watercourses and enjoy the grotesque rocks and picturesque scenery along the banks, accompanied by the folk songs from the trackers. After returning, the ship will sail into the Xiling Gorge, which is the longest gorge among the three and renowned for the numerous shoals, swift currents and grotesque peaks.

Your amazing Yangtze cruise journey will end with an onshore visit to the Three Gorges Dam, which is the world’s largest irrigation project. Its construction greatly protects people living in the lower reaches from floods and its generated power can serve over 14 million households. Before disembarking at around 08:00 – 08:30, please pack your luggage and check out from the ship.

After visiting the giant dam, the cruise company will transfer you to the Three Gorges Tourist Center in Yichang city, where our local guide will meet you and send you to Yichang East Railway Station to catch a high speed train to Shanghai. We will book a seat on the one with the shortest running time of 6 hours and 15 minutes in advance. Upon your arrival in Shanghai, our guide and driver based there will greet you and transfer to the hotel.

Today, weave through the old-city lanes to the 16th-century Yuyuan Garden. Here zig-zag bridges, dragon-ribbed walls and pocket-sized pavilions reveal the soft elegance of Jiangnan landscaping, while your guide decodes the art of Chinese rock appreciation—most notably the “Exquisite Jade” limestone, a naturally weathered sculpture celebrated as one of South China’s top three ornamental stones.
After the garden interlude you’ll have free moments to drift along the adjoining bazaar, sampling street snacks or hunting for handicrafts among the red-lanterned lanes.

In the afternoon, we will head to the Bund district to embark on a one-hour Huangpu River cruise, admiring the distinct iconic landscapes along both banks. To the west, 52 colonial-era buildings in diverse Western architectural styles come into view, showcasing a blend of European influences; to the east, modern skyscrapers like the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Shanghai World Financial Center, and Shanghai Tower rise majestically, creating a breathtaking skyline that bridges history and modernity. After disembarking, enjoy free time to wander along the Bund and capture picturesque moments—where classical architecture meets neon lights, and rippling river waves reflect city glitter. Next, explore Tianzifang—a cultural quarter blending boutiques, art studios, and cafes, where traditional Shanghai Shikumen charm meets contemporary creativity. This area traces its roots back to the 1920s Shikumen residential quarters, now transformed into a vibrant hub of cultural innovation.
