- Contact Information: Name, email address, phone number, and WhatsApp account.
- Identity & Travel Information: In accordance with Mainland China’s regulations, to secure real-name bookings for domestic scenic attractions (e.g., The Forbidden City, Terracotta Warriors), high-speed train tickets, or hotels, we must collect your passport name, passport number, nationality, and date of birth.
- Payment Information: Your credit card details are securely processed directly via encrypted channels (PCI-DSS compliant) by our third-party payment gateway (e.g., Airwallex). Our website does not store your full card number or CVV code.
2. How We Use and Share Your Information
- Service Fulfillment: We use your data solely to fulfill, customize, and manage your travel itineraries and private charter services.
- Customer Support: To send booking confirmations, emergency weather/traffic alerts, or to provide customer support via WhatsApp or email.
- Mandatory Local Sharing: In compliance with Mainland China’s legal requirements, your necessary identification details must be submitted to official real-name ticketing systems or local hotels included in your itinerary. We strictly prohibit selling or renting your personal data to any third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Data Security & Retention
- Encryption: We employ industry-standard encryption technologies (SSL/TLS) to protect all data transmissions between your browser and our website.
- Data Disposal: Upon completion of your tour, highly sensitive identity data like passport numbers will be destroyed or anonymized after the expiration of the 2-year statutory retention period required by the Tourism Law of the People’s Republic of China.
4. Website Technology & Cookies
- Comments: When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it.
